The Role
The Archive Officer will manage the process for disposing of inactive records in accordance with Public Record Office Victoria standards. With a training and advice focus the role, will assist staff to process inactive records. The organisation is currently reliant on paper records therefore initially this role will focus on paper records. However, we are implementing a digital archive and this role will move into managing inactive digital records. The organisation uses SharePoint as its record keeping system.

About you
You will have a tertiary qualification in an information management related field and/or experience in managing public records in Victoria. Archive management experience in local government would be ideal. You will have skills in establishing and maintaining strong and positive relationships with both internal and external clients. You will have experience working in both a team environment and independently.
